I’m keeping things easy and simple today… Here’s my simple 5-Fruit Smoothie recipe for you (my family loves this one), hope you do too:
KAREN’S FIVE-FRUIT SMOOTHIES
2 ripe bananas
16 frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen mixed berries *
1 cup 2% milk
1/4 cup Greek yogurt, or to taste
1 single-serve packet flavored protein powder, optional
Peel bananas and break into pieces. Place in food processor bowl. Add remaining ingredients. Blend for two minutes, until smooth. Pour into tall glasses and serve. Makes two smoothies. I use a Ninja food prep system for this, but any food processor, or smoothie maker will do.
Best used immediately. If you store smoothies, they will settle and separate.
* I use a blend of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries for the mixed berries, but try a mix of any frozen fruit that you prefer.
